IWCS admits students of any race, color, national, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. IWCS does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and
other school-administered programs.
If IWCS receives more applications than available openings in a given class, the following criteria are considered by the Board of Directors:
• Child of a staff member
• Students currently attending an Indianapolis Christian School System school (if necessary, number of years attended)
• Missionary families on furlough
• Siblings of students (both current and alumni)
• Academic readiness for Indy West curriculum
• Need for and availability of Tuition Assistance
• Status of their account if the family is currently enrolled
If a grade level is filled, a waiting list will be created. First consideration will be given to the student who is on the list the longest.

School Choice Vouchers
The Indiana State Legislature recently approved changes School Choice Voucher program, including a voucher expansion. As a result, Choice scholarships will now be available to more students than ever before! There are no more eligibility track requirements, rather just three criteria:
- Indiana residency
- Age/grade (5y and K-12)
- Income that falls within the approved limit (see the chart for ’23-’24 limits)
The application window for new eligibility opens July 1.

Financial Aid FAQs
Who can apply for Financial Aid?
Any family that has a full-time student entering Indy West is eligible to apply for need-based tuition assistance.
How does a family apply for Financial Aid?
Indy West uses a third-party service provider, FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment, to review families’ financial information and make recommendations regarding assistance. An enrolled family begins by completing an application for tuition assistance online with FACTS. Families
should begin applying by April. Your previous year’s Form 1040 federal tax return and accompanying schedules must be submitted to FACTS in order for your application to be considered complete and verified.
How is financial need determined? Who is eligible?
Is the tuition assistance award automatically renewed each year?
No, it is necessary for families to reapply each year.
How is my confidential family information handled?
Indy West cares deeply about respecting your privacy. FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment, our third-party provider, is a reputable firm that provides the initial evaluation step. FACTS serves private and faith-based schools nationwide and has a confidential and reliable process. After FACTS finishes their evaluation of your application and tax forms, they send us a
recommendation for an award. Our Financial Aid Committee reviews the FACTS recommendation and any additional information that you have provided directly to Indy West. Your family financial information or aid award amounts are confidentially maintained within the confines of our business office.
